Set of Four silver & emerald green dress shirt studs (tuxedo studs) from Dickie Bows. Each shirt stud has a domed opaque green resin inlay set into a polished silver rhodium plated rim. The ideal accompaniment to tuxedo outfit or a formal dress shirt, these dress shirt studs are 10mm wide and use a stub fit fastening with a centre pin of approximately 3mm. The rear of the studs is 10mm wide and features a smooth back for extra comfort.

Choosing the Right Shirt Studs
Even though shirt studs are optional, they are ideal for that special occasion that demands a tuxedo and dress shirt.

You have a choice of screw fit or stub fit fastenings. Screw fit studs have the advantage of being easier to insert with the back of the stud removed but can come loose as the thread is very small. Stub fit shirt studs tend to stay in place and smooth or domed back studs are more comfortable if worn next to the skin.

To fit your shirt studs, look for the tiny stud hole next to each shirt button on the dress shirt. Insert the front of the stud from inside of the shirt, and push it through the stud hole. Now simply push the stud through the normal buttonhole on the other flap of the shirt front.
